Book Review: Never the Bride
"Never The Bride" by Cheryl McKay and Rene Gutteridge started me chuckling in the first pages, and kept me laughing throughout the entire book! This book was a delightful combination of the movies "27 Dresses" and "Evan Almighty"... and I think every reader could relate to the main characters in some way. As you read, you truly start to think, "Do I really hand control over to God in every aspect of my life?" But it's presented in such funny, casual ways that you don't realize it at first. And you once again are reminded of the eternal truth that God really does have good things planned for us, but sometimes we mess things up when we try to do things our way. I would recommend this book as a fun read to any fellow females!
